Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds or returns may apply to purchases made from Proofing Dough.

This policy applies only to eligible physical products purchased through Proofing Dough. It does not apply to digital downloads, digital tools, financial counseling services, content courses, workshops, or curriculum creation.

Physical products are eligible for return only if they arrive damaged, defective or incorrect per your receipt of purchase.

1. Physical Products Only

Proofing Dough may accept returns for eligible physical products within 14 calendar days of delivery.

To qualify for a return or refund, the item must be:

• unused, unworn, and unwashed
• in its original condition
• free of odors, stains, damage, pet hair, smoke, or signs of wear
• returned with original tags, packaging, or inserts if applicable
• accompanied by proof of purchase

If a returned item does not meet these requirements, Proofing Dough reserves the right to deny the refund.

2. Items That Are Not Refundable

The following are nonrefundable and not eligible for return:

• digital downloads
• digital tools, templates, worksheets, guides, or printable products
• financial counseling services
• workshop purchases, workshop registrations, or workshop attendance
• completed services
• sale items or final sale items, if marked as such at the time of purchase
• gift cards, if offered
• items not returned in original condition

Because digital products are delivered immediately and cannot be “returned” in the same way as physical goods, all digital product sales are final.

3. Financial Counseling and Workshops

This Refund Policy does not govern financial counseling services.

Financial counseling is subject to its own separate Financial Counseling Terms of Service.

Workshops, workshop registrations, and related educational events are also excluded from this Refund Policy unless Proofing Dough states otherwise in writing for a specific event.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a physical product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact Proofing Dough within 5 calendar days of delivery at [business email address].

Please include:

• your order number
• your full name
• a brief description of the issue
• clear photos showing the item and the problem

Proofing Dough reserves the right to review the issue before approving a replacement, refund, or other resolution.

5. Return Process for Eligible Physical Products

To request a return for an eligible physical product, contact Proofing Dough at [business email address] within 14 calendar days of delivery.

Do not send items back without return instructions.

If your return is approved, you will be given instructions for how and where to send the item.

6. Return Shipping

Unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are nonrefundable unless required by law.

Proofing Dough is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.

7. Refund Approval and Processing

Refunds are issued only after the returned physical product is received and inspected.

If approved, the refund will be sent to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.

Proofing Dough reserves the right to issue a full refund, partial refund, replacement, or store credit when appropriate and permitted.

8. Order Changes and Cancellations

Because some physical products may be processed quickly or made to order, Proofing Dough cannot guarantee order changes or cancellations after an order is placed.

Once production or fulfillment has begun, the order may no longer be eligible for cancellation.

9. Abuse of Policy

Proofing Dough reserves the right to deny returns, refunds, or exchanges in cases of suspected abuse, repeated return activity, misuse of products, policy manipulation, or fraudulent behavior.
